Default Uploading Tunes

Mike, I know I've asked about this before, but I'm just not getting it: I just had my ride supercharged and tuned with an SCT X3, but I already own a Trinity. I want to upload the SCT tune to my Trinity, but the user manual is not helping in that department. The chapter/section is 7.6 in the manual, but it's directions for uploading from a file. I want to go right from my car to the Trinity. Possible? I really don't want to mess up what I have going, but I ALSO don't want my Trinity to be a $500 monitoring tool, you know? Thanks.

What is it you want to do to the tune?

Do you want to modify it, or are you just trying to make it work with the car 'just because'?

I have to advise against the latter, as that always leads to problems.

If you need to make changes to the tune, plug the Trinity in, and select the modify stock tune option from the list of tunes under performance.

From there, you can make any changes and they will be applied to the tune that is currently in the car, and the 'stock' tune stored in the Trinity will be your current custom tune.

Mike, thanks. It's kinda the former and the latter. Basically, I want my shops custom-supercharged-with-SCT-tune uploaded to my Trinity "just because", but also so I can do other things like shut off my TCS through the computer and calibrate my speedometer when I change tire/wheel sizes for things like the drag-strip or when I throw my stocker 17's back on for whatever reason.
