Default SCT Powerflash?

I have a 2000 5 Speed GT. I have a CAI, O/R X, 3.73 ratio gears. I am wondering if I should probably go with a SCT Powerflash tuner? I've heard that the Sniper tuner is pretty advanced, and you should probably have a supercharger to get it.

What kind of HP jump will I see off a SCT tune with my current mods?

Are you gonna be running the 93 Octane tune or are you gonna be getting a custom made tune to go along with your SCT? I would say you'd see (93 tune) a 8-10rwhp from the offroad X. As with the CAI, your prob see maybe 4 or 5 hp. As for the gears, they have nothing to do with performance gains because they do not increase anything. Gears help get the Car into its RPM range. It helps put the power to the wheels at different levels.

Yes, the 93 tune. I would like to start buying some more bolt ons before I go ahead and throw a tune at my car. Or should I do it the other way around? --- buy a tuner, then buy bolt ons and eventually a supercharger?

If it was me: Skip the bolt-ons and go right for the supercharger . Then followed by a 75mm or 78mm throttle body. Throw in some stage II cams. Add in some longtube headers. (In that order). I mean the UD Pullies are gonna be worthless because you can't use em with a S/C. You could get a catback exhaust but thats mainly for sound. A plenum might be good as well but sorta worthless as well with a s/c.

It's your choice you can buy a tuner now or wait. Regaurdless what order you do it in you'll have to or rather i'd say go to a dyno shop shop and get them to tune your car once you have a s/c or fullbolt-ons.

Because really bolt-ons are wothless with a Tune. A Tune is worthless without bolt-ons. You won't see much gain in terms of torque or HP without em both (at some point). They go hand & foot.

It help now having for instance AM & BAMA team up to offer free tunes for life. Which allows for you to get a new canned tune once you add another performance part to your car. But canned tunes only go so far. To really get dialed in and if your serious i'd take it to a dyno shop and put it up. But wait awhile (down the road) before you do so.
