Default sct tuner

Hey all just received tunes through my email from bama and i have my devise plugged in and i click load custom tune file and it says devise communication failed i downloaded the updates for it and all and i just cant get it to work any ideas?

I know you have a 4.0, but apparently you aren't alone. We have had a number of tuning issues using SCTs on the '11 3.7L too.

Make sure the driver for the SCT is sct, not a windows driver. I had the same trouble and mine was the driver.

Got it fixed, turns out the drivers were installed wrong or were outdated thanks for the help.

Yeah this was simply a matter of the device not connecting to the computer to load tunes onto the device. A driver issue. I'm glad you already got it worked out. Let me know if you need any more help during the process!

Can you overwrite tunes? say i want to delete one of my old tunes and replace it with a new one. would i be able to do that or would i need to completly delete the old one.

You can always over-write or delete tunes using SCT's device update software under the "Load Custom Tunes" option.

Completely doable,

Just some advice,

When you upload your new custom tune and select the position number for this new tune, be sure to rename your new tune or else it will have the old tunes name.
