fastforAPONY,
Congratulations on the 13'!
Did you un-marry the device from your 11'? If so then all you need to do is get tunes for the 13' & you will be ready to go!
If you need some assistance on this process, Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 10AM-3PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
I am not sure, what is un-marry?I did put the 2011 back to stock. What do you did to do to un-marry? Thanks dan for your reply.
fastforAPONY,
Once you upload the stock file you can look in the options tab to see if the hand held is still married to your Mustangs PCM. If it says married and you have the stock fill uploaded, it will give you the option to "un-marry" the hand held tuner from your Mustnag's PCM. Once you un-marry the hand held, you're set to connect it to another Mustang's PCM. Just keep in mind you can only do this 5 times total before having to contact SCT directly to unlock the tuner.
Thanks shane for the reply
Can I safely plug into the 2013 to see if the tuner is un-marry?
fastforAPONY,
Sure can! Don't worry about messing anything up. The device will just tell you it's married to another PCM and can't be locked to the present PCM. If you have any SCT/Bama questions, feel free to hit one of our Bama Tuning Specialists up anytime Monday-Friday 9-5pm and Saturday 10-4pm EST!
