Default questio on knock sensor

i am tuned for a 100 shot n2o. i was told due to the sensitivity of the knock sensor that i could run up to a 150 shot withoutpulling more timing. i was told the sensor would actually oull the timing needed is this true.

Is that extra 50 really worth the risk? It would probably work but what's the point? Why do you want to add more power just to negate it with the knock sensor? I would tune accordingly.

Hijack Alert!

I have been monitoring my knock sensors and knock adder. Is it normal for the knock sensors to always be pulling a little? Just idling my knock sensors are around 400. If I get on it even moderately the value will increase. Around 1000 I will start to see a value in the knock adder. Comparing timing and knock adder looks like a mirror image so I know timing is being pulled. I am not really sure how to interpret the data though. Is it pulling a little as a safety margin, is it enough to effect performance? Should I be concerned?
