Default Edelbrock Supercharger tune problem......

Bought my 07 Saleen Heritage from a Ford dealer, I didnt get the tuner with the car. My dyno guy says says I need to take it to Ford, have them flash back to stock, then tow the car back so as not to operate with a stock tune. Then he can use a aftermarket tuner. If Id only known....... Sounds like an expensive pain in the ***.

Taking it back to the dealer is the only way to get the stock tune restored, but if you have the base supercharger configuration, you could always just download that tune from Edelbrock. This tune requires the stock airbox, 3.8 inch pulley, stock exhaust and stock fuel system... along with a Diablo tuner.

Thanks, Doogie. I have the 3.8 pulley, Saleen exhaust catbacks, and stock fuel system. Ill call Edelbrock on Monday and check it out. Thanks again

BTW, why the GT500 fuel pumps? Mine seems like its lean on top(pulls harder at3/4 throttle than WOT) . I would like to bring the boost up to 10lb but Im sure it would need a custom tune for that.

I added the GT500 pumps when I swapped in the 3.5 inch pulley, which did require an update tune. Anything from the base configuration will require a custom dyno tune. Any change to your current set-up including a smaller pulley to up your boost would require tuning changes.

Based on your mod list, I would assume your Brenspeed tune is fairly customized.
