Default Diablosport inTune vin error

Hi. I am hoping maybe someone has a little insight or can help. I just received the tuner ( Diablosport inTune) along with a cai from AM today and I went to retrieve the original backup file from my car as per BAMA's instructions and all I can come up with is "vin database error". Has anyone had this problem or know why this is happening ? Am I missing something ? Quite the bummer for my first mod experience with the car. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about the device error you're experiencing. We can definitely work with you and Diablosport to get you squared away and enjoying your tune, quickly! Give the Bama team a call and they'll help you troubleshoot and point you in the right direction.

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I believe we spoke this morning...

As mentioned, please connect the tool to a PC, let the intune.exe (autoplay) run, and it will replace the missing VIN Database and any other files that need updating, then it should work perfectly in your car

Thanks

Thanks to both of you for the replies. Yes I spoke with both AM and Diablosport this morning. I will try updating the device as soon as I can get to a computer after work. It was a little frustrating last night while not being able to speak with anyone, but after the great customer service from both companies this morning I feel that all will work out well. Thanks again and I'll report back after the device update
