Self-Tuning
Added K&N cold air intake and tuned my stock 2011 Mustang GT which took my motor from 412hp to 455hp. Now adding JBA shorty headers and axleback exhaust and will re-tune it again. Then adding a Snow Performance Stage 3 Boost Cooler system but not re-tuning because Snow Performance says to not re-tune after install so that when the boost cooler system is running dry, there are no issues.
My question - If I purchased my own Tuner Kit, is it possible to program different pre-sets so that I can adjust from one optimal tune to the next depending on what I'm running? Would like to have:
1 - Pre-set tune for normal driving with boost cooler off or dry and 91 octane fuel.
2 - Pre-set tune for driving with boost cooler on and 91 octane fuel.
3 - Pre-set tune for driving with boost cooler on and 100 octane fuel.
Is this possible?
Can you just switch between tunes like that?
Is it a bad idea to ever put 100 octane fuel in a car with catalytic converters still installed?
Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can have multiple tunes and switch between them as you need. There are a couple of options.
If you want to take care of your own tuning SCT's Pro Racer software or HP Tuners are the software of choice. I prefer HP Tuners due to the fact that you don't have to deal with a handheld tuner to load the tunes to your car. Both software packages are capable of tuning for any modifications you might make.
The other option is having someone else write the tunes for you and saving them to a handheld device. You can switch between the tunes as often as you like. AM or Steeda are good options or you could probably find a reputable local tuner to write the tunes for you.
