I have a Bama X3/SF3 tuner that was purchased by the previous owner of the car. I purchased the free tunes for life from American Muscle, yet I can't get the software from SCT to work properly. It boots up fine, but whenever I try to click on anything, the program says its not responding. I just got long tube headers on the car, and its running lean and I have an engine light for slow o2 response (Needs inspected by the end of the month, so I need to get my new tune on to clear the code) Is it possibly because my laptop is running Windows 10? Has anyone else had this issue before? I couldn't find any drivers listed on their website either, so if it is just as simple as missing a driver, could you leave a link for whichever I need? Thanks!

 

Did you update the firmware on the handheld first?

 

I can't. If I select anything within the program such as "download tunes to device", or "update device firmware" the program just freezes up and goes into not responding. My laptop is fairly newer, so it's not the computer. I think it's just windows 10, however there's not another cimpute in my house with any older version

 

I had issues like that with win 10, it never loaded the driver correctly.

Check driver in devices.

 

I have used windows ten with no problems..I would try uninstalling the program and reinstalling it to start. I have the SX4, so don't know if that might be the difference.
