RWD is not my idea of a winter beater.....I'm looking at a Tempo actually.

4door, 4 cyl, FWD, 30 MPG. Yup, winter beater .

i'm not worried til nov 1st, last year was a once in 50 yr thing. seriously, that car is fun in the winter, 27 mpg snow tires, sand bag. if you can't drive rwd in the winter, you just dont know how to drive and suck at it. fwd is for women and ricers

I drove my sixxer all threw winter last year, INCLUDING the october storm. Like I said, I had snow tires, and with my subs in the back, was ready.

However, I don't want to put the GT threw a winter, since I have an open garage at my apt I can use for free, plus I won't be putting so many miles on the GT, along with wear and tear.

I won't be spending any more than $800 on a beater, so now I actually do start my "beater fund." I'll actually probably keep the tires/wheels now, because the beater might just have 15's.

And Jim, for George, guarenteed he'll go nowhere at the same light for 3 cycles and be BEGGING to drive the Tempo. George, if you really do do that, !@#$% sell ME the car.
