does any1 have brake problems? whenever i brake, specially when it is raining it seems like the pads dont hold the disc or something because it slides down and makes weird sounds. like cracking !!. i barely changed all the pads. also the squeaky sound its killing me.
what can i do about it??

Did you make sure the pad and caliper hardware was installed? There are clips that fit into the caliper mounting plate that the pads fit into. And did you put anti squeak compound on the back of the pads??

you should get out the car to check which brake pad its coming from. i had a problem lately with the brakes and my back right pads were scraping the rotors due to the roads being crappy in the area im at. your first step should to drive slowly and have someone walk along the car to see which one its coming from

yes i made sure they were put in right. I even took it to a shop so that they can check it and replace them for new ones. BUt the problems keeps going.
I also tried to walk w/ someone else driving the car and they are good. do u think i should get new ones.
like the cobra brakes and the whole thing. Is it xpensive? how much r they?

this happened to some 1 before and it was cause it wasnt the right size in needed to be cut. maybe check that?

i think i am gonna have to change them, cause im planning to get the 4.10 in 2 months (Hopefully) and i am gonna still have to change them anyway right?

Nope. I kept the stock brakes until recently. And all I did was go with drilled and slotted front rotors and Hawke pads. The V6's share the exact same brakes as the GT's. It they will stop a GT, they will stop most modded V6's.
