Default hola

Ok so I have gone through all of the crap about how if you have a v6 (which I do a 95 conv manual) and you want v8 go buy a v8. Well I paid 1500 for my car with 135000 miles. I have located a 5.0 Cobra motor tranny and cpu for around $3000, im sure i will need to work on the motor, then I need a new diff, $1500?, brakes, engine mounts, exhaust, suspension blah blah can do almost all of the work myself, and what I cant I can get help with. The way I see it Im in it about $7000 blood sweat and tears and I have a v6 looking 95 that runs a Cobra set-up. Is this not the way to go? Sorry if I put this in the wrong area, just noticed that no tech sticky. On another note, this is my first mustang, have always been a camaro(67-70.5 the only real camaros) and you know camaro guy, mustang guy. But then I got what I consider to be a steal and found out that I could possibly do the swap for a decent price and here we are. Before I wrecked my 84 Supra it was on its way to being a "mommy's boy punk in a mustang" pounder. Had alot of fun in Georgia in that because there are alot of punks there and that little straight 6 putting 200 on the wheels did pretty good, untill a person that could drive their big v8 stang made me cry. Well not going to drag this on any more, I am now a proud mustang owner and I think I have figure out why you cats are down with the pony, and I definatley see the potential of a big horsepower mustang mabye a lepoard can change its spots.
