There's not much you can do other than get a turbo on it as aftermarket parts are extremely rare and hard to come by for the old 2.3L foxbodys.

you dont have 140hp, the turbo models for that year made about 145hp you have closer to 88hp in brand new tip-top shape, which being that its 22 years old, its probably down to somewhere in the 70's

Engines:
2.3 liter I4 88 bhp.
2.3 liter I4 Turbo 145 bhp.
3.8 liter V6 112 bhp.
5.0 liter V8 HO 165 bhp.
SVO: 2.3 liter I4 Turbo 174 bhp @ 4500 rpm, 210 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm.
only thing i can reccomend is a turbo 2.3 swap, aftermarket parts are NOT hard to come by, racer walsh and esslinger both have a plethora (sp?) of parts in stock ready to ship, check out ebay as well

so im only pushing out 88hp?! that pisses me off. But ya it is in excellent condition. So would a 351 engine swap be able to fit in it? and if not how much are turbos and an extra cam

how do you know its in excellent condition? how's the compression, the injectors flowing nice and even? your ignition up to snuff?

you dont want to just swap on a turbo (you could, low boost with an FMU) but the turbo engine swap would be your best bet

Yea if you're gonna do a swap, then do a turbo swap, because a 351 swap will cost butt loads of cash.

+1 but -1

i would do a 347 or something based off the 5.0 block becasue a 351 will be way to heavy, or if you really want find an essex 3.8 and turbo it, that would be a fun car
