Default Taking apart the dash

I want to take apart the dash of my 97 mustang so I can wire some lights to the cigarette lighters. Does anyone know how to take it apart? Thanks!

It snaps in place, just locate all of the black pins and pull them out "CAREFULLY" as they will need to go back in. You'll probably have to remove your speedo, don't know for sure, but it should come out kinda easily, but expect much frustration and head scratching. Also, see if the Haynes manual has any words or wisdom on that. I know how to take off the doors and the area around my sterio but that's it.

Thanks. I think I just need to remove the piece by the shifter. I'm just worried about breaking the dash. Definately gonna go get Haynes.
