My reverse gives me trouble a lot too. I usually just let out the clutch, then engage it again and it will go into reverse then. I think I am going to try the trick that Juggy said next time tho.

Also, what works, is you pull it into reverse, and where it stops, hold it there, slowly ease out of clutch, and when the teeth line it, itll drop right into gear.
Its a typical problem with T5's, no matter what car theyre in.

According to the manual (yeah..I'm a nerd..what?) just move the stick past 2nd, not actually into, just over it (still in the "neutral zone") then directly into reverse. This is what I always do and I never have problems. Now...1st gear is another story :-p
