I got 83 stang with a 3.8 V6 auto, Would it be hard to put a 302 5L swap, Would I have to reweld the motor mounts? I got a sweet deal offered to me 302 and the trans for $1000 cash, Ive seen the engine run, it works perfect and tranny, ? Has anyone did this, Or is it just worth going and buying a stang with 302 in it already?

A couple guys in our club have done it and it is a beeeeatch. Pretty much plan on spending about 4k by the time your done and everything is running right.
Your engine deal = 1k
parts, outside labor and electrical = 3k

That asuming the engine doesn't need any work.

If you put that same money into your V6, you could have a bad A$$ V6 Stang that would be unique and fast as funk.
