Default THROTTLE RESPONSE

Maybe not so much throttle response but more of how do I get my v6 5 spd to pull harder? It sucks real bad trying to get on it and down shift into 3rd (with high rpm's) and floor it and it doesnt even pull that much....sure it gets going fast but it takes awhile. So Im thinking most of you will tell me t-lok and gears?? Would a bigger throttle body and ported intake to match help alot to?

Just what are the big aftermarket parts to get it to pull harder is what im basically asking?

Gears, intake, ported heads, higher compression, cam shafts, turbo/super charger, chip/tune, etc.. The list is endless

cai and gears seem to be the best combination that give you the best throttle response/accelleration. although changing your shift points/revamping your ecu would also help out with that, at a fairly costly price.

Ok so 4.10 gears with a t-lok, CAI and exhaust, 42% U.D pullies, diablo or SCT tune, ported intake with a 65 mm TB

If you want 3rd gear pull, the best items are probably 4.10, CAI, exhaust for the money you are most likely willing to spend. The tunes can be expensive. The T-Lok is for traction at the start of your launch, your open differential is fine for a 3rd gear pull. 65 mm TB isn't the most cost effective item right now. Start with cost effective mods then go to the smaller stuff.

Im not really familiar with a "tune" to a car...I know on auto's they can change your shift points to higher rpms and that but since mine is a 5spd how will a diable or any tune help me? Thanks.
