It's not hard but it can be a pain in the ***, like when trying to squeeze the rubber tube on the filter into the metal bracket. Talk about a tight hole lol.

Oh **** okay then i guess i better do it so im not the laughing stock but hey i wouldnt mind being famous for something [8D] I also just found out a friend of mine works on cars so ill probably have him over to assist me. But yeah sorry i seriously have no experience with any fixing-upping on cars first hand.

Don't you have to do a tune up after installing some air intakes?? some even come with a tuner as a combo... How does the tuneup part work?????????

you dont have to do a tuneup...most people dont, they usually wait till they do more to their car and then get a diablo tunner or somethin...but no its not necessary at all.

Dude. Scenario:

You walk into Bob's Auto Repair and ask that they install a CAI on your mustang. After Bob is done rolling on the ground laughing, he disappears for ten minutes, then he returns. Upon arrival he hands you a bill and says enjoy the CAI kid. Bill=$150(not really, but damn)

Its not worth it. If you can't do i, have your dad. Hell, have your mom do it. Real simple.

please try. those labor rates are outrageous. My father and i are installing my cam probably next month( we install everything thank god my dads a mechanic!) and thats nine billion times harder than a 15 minute CAI install. Whats the worst that can happen matt?

Yea a cam install will take upwards of 20 hours to take your time and do it right.
