Default Brakes question

Im friends with one of the best mechanics in the county, and I had mentioned to him about my brakes had been squeeking. He came over, jacked up my car, took the wheels off, and told me my pads are perfect and my rotors are smooth. Nothing. Do I need some rotor lubricant? Any suggestions?

You can spray some dry graphite on the rotors..or really get rid of the squeak by takin the pads out and putting some Disc Brake Quiet on the backs of them. Disc Brake Quiet is an adhesive. If your brakes are in good order, the squeaking is a harmonics produced by metal to metal. From the backing of the pad rubbing on the caliper. Disc Brake Quiet cures this problem.

Mercedes is real bad about brake squeal if the backing plate isn't lubricated. You don't want lubrication on the lining though. They do however make a liquid graphite type stuff that you can put on the lining and let dry.

Vibration indicates warped rotors. Noisy pads are usually cus they are el cheapos..

Take your pads off, and sand the back edges of the pads untill there is a taper on it.

Not necessarily. If they are still thick enough, they can be turned on a brake lathe.
