How to remove the passenger airbag cover??

Default How to remove the passenger airbag cover??

Nothing to removing the air bag. Make sure it's disarmed, then just unbolt it from under the passenger side of the dash.

Here's an idea, DONT TRY IT.

Why would you even want to take the cover off? And if you screw-up while taking it off and the airbag comes out, you're gonna be spending A LOT of money for someone to put it back in.

Just out of curiousity, why do you want to? I'm just wondering, but I'm pretty sure it costs roughly 500 dollars or so to get airbags repacked, so just keep that in mind in case you decide to go through with it.

Well, there's 250 more reasons not to mess around with it then. I didnt realize it was that high, cuz I think my friends was only like 500, but then again, that was almost 4 years ago.

lol if that's the case I wouldn't mess with it. I thought it was just a cover over the airbag system. And the reason, was because I was thinking in painting the cover like I did with other bezels.

Un screw the glove box then unscrew the airbag.
**HIjAC*- If I replace my own bags how do I make sure they dont go off?

find the two wires and connect them to the battery
