Hello

I have a 93 lx convertible with a 2.3.I havt to change the fuel pump soon , it quits now and then, have to rap the tank to get it it work .Also the gas guage does not work much.Some times it works , other times ( most of the time ) it does not.It looks like the sending unit for the gauge is seperate from the fuel pump , is this true? Is there any thing else i should look for to solve the problem with the gauge ?

I know that is true of my 2000 V6 but I am not sure of the 4 bangers
