Default headlights

i thinks theres a forum on this already but cant find it. my headlights look like s*** and ive already full on cleaned the outside. how do i take off the headlights so i can clean the inside and what should i use?

1) try flitz....really helped out my old contour lights...doesnt last that long though
2) pop the hood; looking down at the top of the lights you should see two holes (two on each side) in the painted metal headlight panel just behind the lights; recessed in those holes are L-shaped metal pins that lock the headlights in place; the pins are in a kindof rail; just pull up to remove them; it may be tought to pull them out, first time i used a flat head screwdriver to get them started; once you slide the headlight assembly out, disconnect the corner lights by unscrewing the bulb, then disconnect the low/highbeam bulb by pressing the clamps (above and below) on the connector and wiggle them out (pull towards engine)....that should be it...reverse to put them back in...hope that's good enough...hard to show you where the pins are without pics...you should see them though
