Is it dual exhaust or "true duals", cuz there is a big difference, but before you get exhaust "out" you have to get it "in", so you really need a CAI to help, and also what type of mufflers is your car wearing, you forgot to mention that.

dual exhaust with STOCK mufflers or what type of mufflers? got a Cold Air Intake? that seems to help a tad...if you want LOUDER...gotta take off those cats but thats not street legal and won't pass smog in many states

Its a dual exahust, I had a friend take off his from his 2001 GT when he got flowmasters and he gave them to me, so I took them to a muffler shop and they welded them on. I dont know that much about it so im not to sure about the "in" factor...and i dont want to take off my cats because that just seems like a hassle, espeically if im going to have to put them back on every year when i get a smog check. I have heard that headers can also help...but not to sure.

Flowmasters man either super 40s or regular 40s are both great.
High flow cats if you can afford it

screw flowmasters. get Force mufflers. they sound just like flowmasters but are $29.88/muffler

get them here www.summitracing.com

part# FRC-5201 is perfect for GT takeoff pipes

here is a direct link
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=115&y=10&x=28

you could also have the cats removed and put in a pypes catted Xpipe. it will be legal and alot louder as the stock cats really quiet down the exhaust.

the GT mufflers are quiet on a 6 but the force mufflers are a bit louder. they may be perfect for you. try them first before you mess with the cats
