If you take the Air Intake Shoulders/Extention off(it should run into your fenderwell), at least mine does. I have a 99 V6 35th Anvers. and i did that and put a new FRAM air filter on and i could feel a better pick up. Alot of people do this to there 4.6L Stangs, thats kind o a free hosepower mod..

Make it lighter. Take out the back seats. I've heard a lot of guys build their own seat deletes (though I'm not so technically gifted for that myself). Anything to save weight will add horsepower, in a sense

The best way to make your car quicker for free would be to find someone with a fast car, beat the bloody snot out of him and steal it. Don't get caught. Free car... free speed!
