My PS whines too, infact there are more stangs that I have notticed that have that traditional "Horse Cry" coming from their car. Its very common and really doesnt affect driving that much, just a little embarasing to somone that doesnt know any better.

Now flamming River makes a good manual rack thats a 2.5 Turn that is suppose to be easy to use. Its still hell parking in tight area's but once your rolling at anything over 5mph you wouldnt nottice a change. My wife has a 68' Mustang that doesnt have PS and its just fine, acts like a car that does have it, but parking is a freakin bitch. So if you go through a lot of pull throughs or dont creep very often then you may want to contact flaming river and ask more specificly what the feel is like. For an everyday driver, it can be endured but probably not enjoyed.

I have been concidering a Flaming River manual rack for my Stang for some time now, but I keep going back and forth because I also have a nice new 03/04 Mach1/Cobra PS rack, box and pump. Its a hard choice for me because I dont do the whole creepy creepy thing, I do pull throughs far far at the far end of the far end of the furthest parking space (And yet someone always parks next to me.)

Driving a car with a manual rack, and driving a car with a power steering rack, and a bad pump are two different things. When i bought my turbo coupe, it had no power steering fluid in it and driving it wasnt bad. It was only when parking that i had a hard time.

I see you also have some 17's on the car, thatll make it harder to steer also.
