MAC CAI QUESTION

OK, I just got a MAC CAI and had it installed it on my car. Is it supposed to sound like a little whining noise when you give it gas? It kinda sounds like a little minature turbo whine. Since I've never had a CAI, I don't know if this is normal. Thanks!

That whistle is kinda nice but it doesn't excite me too much since I drag race my street bike and not my V6. All my adrenaline comes from my 2-wheel power. But thanks for all your help since I wasn't sure about the sound.
