need help with a couple things
1. Everytime I turn my steering wheel I hear a raspy, whining type of noise. I popped open my hood and checked my power steering fluid just as directed by the ford manual and it was full, it said not to overfill but i doubt that would be it because ive never filled it and have had it for the past 30,000 km and never had a problem. I'm thinking it may be the pump but i dont know why really just that its the steering thats messed, but when i turned the wheel it almost sounded as if it were my main belt running in the front (not sure of its name) but it does sound like it could be it.
2. My front passenger side wheel has been making a very little squeel every couple seconds but very faintly. Now today, it is amazingly worse. When i push down on the fender or the car to compress the shocks it makes the squeak loudly (just like when i go over any bump or just every few seconds on the roads). The sound is coming right from where the wheel is connected to the rotor. The sound squeaks everytime i go over any little bump and is annoying as hell so does anyone have ideas on what the hell this is...?
thanks all

The whining noise is probably the power steering pump. Mustangs are known to have problems with power steering pumps. Mine has been replaced a couple of times and it still whines, even when the fluid is at the right level.
As for the squeak on the passenger side, it could be your struts. (Struts go on the front and shocks on the back, right?)
