vortechs dont put down as much power, and they make no boost until 3k rpms when procharger makes aboot 1 at 1800 rpms
no centrifugal is going to make power below roughly 3000rpm. they're just belt driven turbos and have to have that "spool" time just like a turbo. the vortech doesn't put down as much power because it's non-cooled. put an inter/aftercooler on it and they'll be in the same ballpark. vortech costs more though for the cooled one.
