You won't flood your engine if you simply drive in rain--- I have a fenderwell kit and I've never had any problems. If you drive through a substansial puddle, you're gonna be in some trouble.

I got my CAI off Ebay, it's a Bomz Racing CAI and is much cheaper than the name brands. I wouldn't get any other brand off Ebay though, the other cheap ones seem to have a lot of fitting issues. I know several people on here have gone with Bomz and are very happy with their purchases.
i have the same intake, it went right in, took like 20 min. ive had it for close to a year and everythings been fine. we dont have the checks here either so it doesnt matter to me
i live in stupid tax-assachussets where we got all the crappy emitions (sp?)[&o]

Think it's bad there? Try living in California. We practically invented emissions testing...and still have the toughest emissions laws in the WORLD.......

Well I got all of you beat, I live in Louisiana, where it's hot, very humid, hurricane threats all the time, tornados, yes we get our fair shair, stupid politicians, and ricers galor, the only good thing about down here is that we don't have earthquakes and that it doesn't snow..................wait a minute, we get snow, just not enough to stick, but the humidity that's around in the winter can make 30 degrees feel like 10 degrees without wind chill.
