im looking to buy a CAI but most of the ones are fender well system. could they Hydro-lock your engine if you drive in the rain alot?

No, come on, think this out, it's in the fenderwell, you'd have to drive though 3 ft of water to flood that thing out.

You won't flood your engine if you simply drive in rain--- I have a fenderwell kit and I've never had any problems. If you drive through a substansial puddle, you're gonna be in some trouble.

I got my CAI off Ebay, it's a Bomz Racing CAI and is much cheaper than the name brands. I wouldn't get any other brand off Ebay though, the other cheap ones seem to have a lot of fitting issues. I know several people on here have gone with Bomz and are very happy with their purchases.

i got one from autobadges.com, installed it like 3 weeks ago, and recently in boston we had one of the worse rainstorms ever, it rained like 8 days in a row. well outta those 8 days i drove about 5 and didnt have a single problem
