Default 70mm throttle body

I found a 70mm throttle body that i want to get for my 2001 3.8L V6. I was wondering how hard it would be to install and if I would need to do anything else like get a better chip to help compensate for the larger throttle body.

Default RE: 70mm throttle body

unless u have a power adder like a super/turbocharger ur stock tb is more then enough for you there is no need for a larger tb unless u are pushing serious power it would just be a waste of money! u wouldnt need a chip but it cnat hurt but your intake would have to be port matched other wise u really didnt do anything by installing the larger tb but like i said u dont need it anyway i would say save your money and get something more worthwhile!!
