i have a 2000 v6 stang and my clutch pedal is always rattling. like if im not pressing on it and im salowing down it rattles like crazy and its getting harder to press down on than normal. Aside from that problem i dont know why but my car is eating my gas up like crazy. any suggestions with what i can do about that. last time i filled up my tank and the gauge reads it to be full only up to 75%. whats that about. Any suggestions. Please help me

 

i cant help ya with the clutch pedal but about the gas . do you remember how many gallons you put in the tank and also about how many miles caan you drive on one tank of gas

 

last time that i went to virginia. i put btwn 10-11 gallons and it lasted me almost all the way. i think i needed to just fill up when i got to VA. thats about 254 miles away. problem is since i drive everyday i guess it justs wastes quicker, since im in the streets

 

well the car has a 13 gallon tank so you still had 1/4 of a tank but for the guage the sending unit in the tank might have a bad fuel level meter in it or something like this i suggest that if you know you can drive 254 miles on three tanks of gas then ignore the guage and every time you buy gas reset the trip meter and drive until it says 255-300 miles and then buy gas some where in the middle of that range maybe 275 mi buy gas and you should be fine
