Check fuse #1, it's blue and a 15 amp. If that doesn't fix it, you are in the same situation I am in. Good luck to you because I hear finding electrical shorts in a car is a pain in the butt.

Why not take the car back in to the shop that worked on it and tell them to fix it? Like you said, it was working before they touched it.
Because what happened is, that I took my car back to Best Buy to see if the guy who installed my dvd player could pop it out so I could send it back to get repaired. After that was done, as he tried to reverse out of the installation garage, my shifter wouldnt shift (its an auto) so knowing a fair bit about cars, he went under my dash and ended up finding out that my "neutral safety switch" needs to be replaced. According to a friend of his at a Ford dealership, its happens all the time to these year mustangs when weather changes so drastically. Anyways after that im pretty sure they were working on my way home but then i noticed a few hours later that they do not.

Also I checked all fuses in the fusebox under the hood, but not for the one by the pedals. I'm almost too sure that he just loosened the wiring for it or accidentaly pulled it right out.

The guy was doing me a huge favour by removing and reinstalling my dvd player and he even removed a little cable making it so I dont have to put my foot on the brake in order to park (which is fine by me)
