my brake lights wont come on.

i just recently have found that my blinkers and hazards also dont work after a guy found that my neutral safety switch busted. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it but i know the dswitch has to do with the brake.

polease i need help ASAP!

 

HAHAHAHA..he ****ed up your brake light switch!! It just hit me..the neutral safety switch ISN'T under the dash..it's attached to the shifter linkage on the tranny!!!!

 

ok well he didnt do anything to what he thought was the neutral safety switch except for notice that it was warm and his buddy at a ford dealership told him that they were doing quite a few of the same model this very week because of the hot weather changes. So the guy said they overheat or something....?

Is there anything i can do like reset the brake light switch if it is that? Or is there any loose wiring i should look for?

Oh and he did remove a tiny linkeage cable on my gearbox so i dont need to press the brake to switch in and out of park. He said the neutral saefty switch was the reason he couldnt get it out of park. So he removed a small cable at the front and now i can freely change gears in my auto. He said if i want it fixed to tell the mechanic its the neutral saefty switch...
