Help!!!
no, didn't hurt your pump... but engine oil is diff than ps fluid... the oil is thicker and the pump just isn't designed to pump that kinda stuff... ATF imo is better... some people say yes, other's say no... but the properties of ATF imo help the seals to not fail... trust me... you don't want the seals failing... it sucks.
No damage will happen, just the possability of temporary power steering loss if you got to much oil in. (oil canlt build the correct hydraulic pressure) ATF is automatic transmission fluid, basically the same thing, if not exactly the same thing. I'm not sure, so I won't tell you to do that. Oil and power steering fluid will mix, so I don't think that flushing more that once is nessary, but it sure can't hurt.
There are two hoses on the PS reservoir. A suction line (bottom) and return line (top or near top) The bottom suction line should be easy to remove, (clip or hose clamp) because that's how you drain the fluid and there is no pressure in the suction line. The return line will be generaly harder because it's a "high pressure" line. Only remove the bottom line.

I'm going to flush him this saturday so if I'm correct I have to do this:
Disconnect the line on the bottom of the tank,
Start the engine and let her run until there isn't comming any fluid out the drain,
Connect the pipe,
Fill the pump with ATF,
Remove the pipe again
Start the engine again and turn the wheel until there isn't any fluid comming out of the drain,
Connect again the pipe,
Refill the pump with ATF and thats it.
Is this correct or should I also turn the wheel for getting the engine oil out? I think that isn't nessesary because the engine oil isn't in those place because the pump hasn't pumped the oil trough the pump it self

We've just flushed her one time but we havent run the engine, we've drained the fluid and that's it, there isn't any fluid in the pump (not engine oil I think because when we filled it we didn't run the engine anymore so I guess that the engine oil isn't any further then in the reservoir and the filling pipe) because I've pumped air in the pump and we felt the air comming out of the drain so th reservoir should be empty. Is this enough or should we run the engine? We rather don't want to do that because she hasn't run for over a half jear. Should filling the pump woth ATF just do the trick? Or do we have to flushe her again?
Personaly, I think your fine since you didn't run the engine in the first place. It's when you run the engine and turn the wheel back and forth that sends the fluid to the power steering unit, so I'd say your cool. The oil is soluble with the power steering fluid, so if you let it all drip out, it's 99.999999% gone which is "GONE"
P.S. People put trany fluid or power steering fluid in thier oil a week or two before an oil change because it cleanses your engines internals really good. Then drain thier oil and start fresh. I added this to give you an idea of thier compatibility so you can sleep at night, LOL.
