I dont get what took so long to replace the studs. On MOST cars, especailly the ones where the bearings and the studs are in the rotor, are especailly easy. And if the studs were too big for the holes then you got the wrong studs. Hoggin out the holes so you can fit em isnt a good idea either.

Well it looks good! So I guess it was worth it.
Reminds me of the old saying, "when you're hip deep in alligators (replacing studs) it's hard to remember the original objective (painting the calipers) was to drain the swamp." It's always the unexpected problems that cost me the time as well.

my wheel studs got cross threaded too last week. one of the lug nuts wouldn't come off because the stud was moving, took 4 hours with a drill to drill it out. then i got a new hub assembly and the studs were already in there. took 20 mins or less after the intial 4hours to get the one nut off.



and i dont have the day to two to wait for it to dry but i when i get my new wheels, probibly the end of the summer
