EDIT: DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally painted my calipers the other day, and I'm here to say, dont do it. It literally took my friend and I 2 whole days to do it. But then again, we broke a wheel stud while we were taking a wheel off. The d*mn thing got cross-threaded and we finally just snapped it off. After we got the wheels off, it took about an hour to remove all the brake components. Then another hour to clean and prep them for paint. Then finally we painted them. We let them dry over night and the next morning we put them back together and put the wheels back on.
But, there was about 4 hours of nonstop work trying to replace the wheels studs before we could put the brakes back together. We decided to replace all 20 wheel studs in fear of another one breaking in the future. We spent almost an hour trying to get ONE on. My friend and I decided after that, that we would put the old ones back on and just forget about replacing them. We finally got them all back on. The wheels went on ok, but it was rough.
I guess painting the calipers might have been worth it if the one stud hadn't broken. But because of that, it created an extra 4-5 hours of work. So what I thought was going to be an easy 1 day job, turned into an extremely frustrating 2 days of hard work. I put some pics on the bottom of the calipers and broken wheel stud. I couldnt get a good view of the whole car because its overcast right now.

wheel studs arnt hard to replace, just need a big hammer, and an impact gun, and it takes maybe 15-20 minutes a wheel
