Default Friction Modifier

Ok I finally have enough money to install the gears and t-lock I bought about a month and a half ago and I have all the parts I need to install it, bearing kit from mustangtuning.com, and royal purple, but I've read that I need a friction modifier. Royal purple says that I dont need any other additives, is that the case? If not where do I buy the right synthetic friction modifier like the one from ford or the brand equitorque because our good friends and O'Reillys and Autozone dont carry it either one?
