Default new shift boot

i just got a cobra aniversary shift boot and even though i have a rough idea of what i need to do i dont want to scratch any of the plastic or break anything. so if any one has changed there shift boot or at least knows how to remove it i would apreciate some input. and does any one know what type of glue i am to use?

Just unscrew the shifter ***, then pop off the plastic cover, you may have to force it a little, but it should just pop out, and remove the plastic cover with the shifter boot, then just take off the shifter boot from the bottom of the cover.
