On their site under "Battery Search" I searched for my car and they don't have 2002 V6. As a matter of fact, they apparently don't have a batter for the 1997 - 2004 V6's ...

I didn't know specific cars had to have specific battery's?
It's all aboot size and amperage requirements. Also, which side the positive and negative poles are on. Call AutoZone, PepBoys, Kragen/Shuck's/Checker, or your local parts store, and as them if they have one that will fit

The only ones out of those I've ever heard of are Autozone and Pep Boys ...

I guess I will head on over to Autozone tomorrow and see if they can find me an Optima battery... Is installation going to be easy enough for me to do on my own or am I going to have to call 15 of my friends to help me think?

It's real easy to install. You will need a 10mm wrench for the cables, and I believe a 14mm socket and long extenstion for the hold down at the base of the battery. ALWAYS disconnect the negative (black) cable first, and put it back on last.
The store may install it for you. Ask them.

I bought a Duralast ... They didn't give me a choice. We brought the battery back (EASY uninstall), paid 68 dollars for a 6 yr warrenty + battery, and had no choice in any battery (we only had 4 choices, all of which were Duralasts). Install was just as easy, but when I started the car at first all the gauges went all the way then to the end, then all the way back ... let it run for about 5 minutes, stopped it and started it and the gauges were normal.

Now about my A/C ... It keeps making a ticking sound and I can't freaking figure it out! I checked under it in the intake in the car (I'm assuming there is one because I've had paper bags and receipts try and go in it???)

What could it be? It's driving me crazy and I'm scared to turn the A/C on ... The temperature today was 101 degrees with 60% humidity!
