Default Would this work?

I was just thinking about something.

First off, would this H-Pipe work with these exhausts?

Second question. Would that be a better idea than the Pypes system with the catted X-pipe?

I know Flowmasters sound better, IMO, and would like those more. I just hope the GT ones will fit with the H-Pipe.

Also, do you recomend an H-Pipe or X-Pipe?

it will work fine, except the tail pipes will have to be hung lower to clear the V6 bumper or put a GT rear bumper on with dual exhaust cutouts in it

H blows. after 3000rpm it has no purpose. an alternative to pypes, would be a custom one from summit, or a local shop

neither H or X serves any purpose on a V6 anyways except for sound difference. neither will add any power over a divorced dual system

and on a V8 H-pipes certianly do help after 3000 rpm's. where are you getting your idea's from is beyond me

Would the straight pipes be street legal? You need cats, right?

Depends on where you live. You can run straight pipes and still be legal as long as you leave the cats on there. If your state doesnt do smog testing then you can go without em.
