Negative , mineral grey has like a goldish hint to it datrkshadow grey is also darker then mineral grey, if you put them next to each other you can tell much easier which is which.

I've got my lights completely blacked out, both front and rear, almost since the first month after I bought my mustang, have had them on continuously for about 4 years now and have never had anyone bother me about them. The rears lights are visible even during the day with them, and at night no one can tell the difference. However on the front while the headlights do shine through, it does significantly reduce your light output. that would be my only complaint about having them up front. If you are only going for rears, I would highly recommend them. And I have used autobadges.com as well, highly recommended, he is good people.
