Neither will a high priced cai, because both do the same thing, it's just that because the sticker says so that makes it so, but if you live in a state that doesn't give a rats ***, then who cares. Oh, for my old 98 I bought a ebay cai, although it wasn't a true ebay cheapy, it was similar to the one mustangtuning sells, but came with a K&N filter. For my GT though I spent the cash this time and got a BBK cai with a K&N filter, can't wait to install it now.[8D]

 

That isnt true, some ebay CAI do pass inspection. You just have to find the ones that the MAF connect to. I got mine from ebay and I just got my car inspected yesterday and passed everything.

 

Dude, all of them connect to the MAF, how else would you install it?

 

Well, still...My main point was that to say ALL eBay CAI are illegal is an untrue statement...You just have to pick the right one.

 

well any cai is fine in my opinion...just put a good filter on it.....

well to be honest i dont really know...it said high output on it when i got it and i was told that all it is is dual exhaust....i really dont know...i thought it sounded cool though...people where i live dont know the difference between a v6 and a 5.0 so why change it
