you shouldnt have passed inspection... did yours come with an (C.)A.R.B. sticker? i dont think the ebay ones do.

 

No, I dont recall any sticker...Is a eBay CAI something specific? cause I was just assuming that it was one if you got it from eBay. Mine is a MAC clone I suppose since it is designed exactly like the MAC CAI.

ebay cai's are the 3rd party intakes that are sold around like $70 (although some ripoffs are sold for regular price at like $150+ish).

their usually either the noname ones or the ones that have a really cheesy name or a name thats totally unrecognizable.

 

i believe the stickers have a product identification number on them so you cant do that.

Well, because of the OBD2 they let computers tell them if its legal or not. No codes came up, so everything is fine...So I suppose the computers are stupid. Then again, emissions and different things passing or not sometimes depends on the state.

 

Because it is state law in some cases, and I drive my car everyday and if I get pulled over and have an out of date inspection, I could possibly get fined...Its never happened though.
