Default Eaton questions.

Sooo, my 'stang has 160,000 miles on her. She's still running good, but i'm just looking into the future. The 4.2 engines that came in the F-150's have ~200 hp and ~250 lb-ft of torque. I was wondering what would happen if you tried to put the Eaton m-90 on it. I know the 4.2's are split-port, so you would probably have to convert it back to single-port, which would take the power back down to ~160 hp? So then, I wouldn't gain much more by using the 4.2 than if I just used a 3.8..am I correct?
