ABS was standard on premium models and optional with trac control on deluxe modles
Yea, by the way I forgot to tell you guys my mustang is a premium ...

So is the light supposed to go on and stay on or just not turn on at all??? Because I've never seen it light up.

My '02 does not have ABS, and i have locked it up a few times on accident trying to slow WAY down for a dumbass at a stop light. My brother's '89 5.0 didn't have ABS either.

The ABS light should only come on during start up when all the other lights are on. If your ABS light is always on, then something is wrong with it, like the check engine light. Mustangs do have ABS as an option.

I have ABS on my 2000 laser red vert and found a 2000 Mustang stock spec sheet on the net I'll share here... The ABS braking is optional on V-6 models
