Fuel pump question...
not an expert on FI but ill give it a shot. with FI, im pretty sure that more fuel is being pushed into the engine to compensate for the air that is also being forced into the engine. without a larger fuel pump (the SVT focus pump can push alot more fuel than the stock mustang one can i believe), the engine would run lean or it would put alot of stress on the stock pump, and thats a bad thing

the focus pumps flow 143lph from what ive read. i don't know what a v6 mustang has stock but it could be lower. i do know that adding a higher flow fuel pump when it doesn't need the extra fuel is just a waste. save it for when you have the airflow to necessitate more fuel. if you don't need bigger injectors, you probably don't need a bigger fuel pump
