Default Couple engine codes

So Im throwing two codes one is evaporative emission and one for running lean. I replaced the gas cap abd pcv valve but the emission light came back after a few months. And any ideas what makes a car run lean

Nope, but if you are trying to get your car inspected and cant because of the light, just go to autozone and have someone clear your codes and then get it inspected...I did that once when I fixed everything that was wrong, but the light still came on eventually...It stopped when I got my engine rebuilt though, so I havnt had to do that since.
