Default V6 value

Hey guys,

I was wondering what kind of trade-in value will I have on my stang. It's an 04 with 45K and real clean. KBB says around 9K, but I think I may be able to get around 10-12 for it. Thanks to the sound system, exhuast, CAI, and the condition.

I plan on getting a C5 Vette. Hopefully I can find a Black or Yellow 6spd for around 18K and possibly a Vert for at most 20K. If you guys know of any being sold, could you let me know?

Thanks.

KBB says $9,920 for my 2002 V6 ...

The mods lower you're value if anything. That shouldn't bring your price up any unfortunately.

Mods do nothing for value, if anything, they'll lower it as they can't be covered by a warrenty, so if the cai craps out, or causes some type of malfunction, the problem can't be fixed under warrenty. As far as the sound system goes, it's so so, because think about it, everybody has their idea as to what's a good sound system, so if you bought a car that had a decent system, but you want or know about a better one, then you'll probably can the current system and get the better one.

I was hoping for 12 from a dealer only b/c I would be buying a 2001 or newer Vette from them. Do you think that is enough for them as far as negotiating how much I'll spend and get?

I figure the negotiations could go...

SP: I'll give ya 10K for it
ME: 13K and you'll sell a Vette today
SP: possibly 11K
ME: 12-5 and I'm sold
SP: Maybe
ME: I guess I could go somewhere else?
SP: OK

I'm J/K, but that would be cool if it went like that...

Thanks for the info guys
