ORIGINAL: Knight Mare

I did it with an 04 v8. Very recently too, from a E-bay bought motor I paid 1,300 for. Let me tell you, its a pain in the @ss. Kinda like death by 1,000 cuts....little things that add up. Parts you forget or dont realise arent compatible, that adds up FAST! All in all, It set me back $6,300. Im not trying to talk you out of it, just letting you know what your up against.
$6300 into a 98 V6 and it'll will have 500+rwhp. kudo's on the v8 swap but that's the reason i don't reccomend them. too much money for just a stock V8

is that worth it? and is that everything needed to do the swap? i was reading on the v6power link and it looks like you have to transfer ALOT of stuff over from the sc to the stang.

Yep, knight mare's $6500 for a V6 to V8 conversion, my $3000 for a V6 trade in on a GT, hmmmmm......... let me see, I think I like the second idea better, way cheaper.
